  1. Sneijder 4 ballon d or 2010 :
    1. He won the treble cup with his club inter milan.
    2. Brought his country netherland 'till final world cup
    3. He scored many assist and goals
    4. As a playmaker team, great skill.
Other may also have number 3 and 4, but not number 1 and 2, no one have statistic like him this year.
And for the best coach is jose mourinho.

  8. Soccer Power: Really? I'm a Real Madrid supporter, but I don't see any reason why CR7 should win it. He didn't perform particularly well in the world cup, which is a major factor towards choosing the winner of the Ballon D'or. He had a great season for his club, but was out for 3 months due to injury - a period in which Messi performed better than ever. I believe Sneijder will win it this year, simply because he made a huge impact on his club, Inter's treble winning season as well as being an important player for his national team up until they lost to Spain in the finals. If there's anyone who deserves to win it this year, it's him. He may not be the most talented or flashy player in the world, but that's not what Ballon D'or is about.

  9. I actually agree with you that Wesley Sneijder should win it, but I was just mentioning that from what I've heard, seen, etc. there are plenty of people who believe that Ronaldo will win it. If you read my comment before your's (#7), I even say that I don't think he has the award in the bag.

I agree with the points you make too, Ronaldo wasn't particularly good in the World Cup, and he had a spell where he was injured and unable to play. I think that Sneijder deserves the award because of the way he transformed Inter Milan, after having been rejected by Real Madrid. That takes a lot of mental self-motivation as well as physical self-motivation.

    Thanks for the comment.

  12. Why CR what did he do?
I think Sneijder or Xavi should win it, but if the race was between Messi and Ronaldo, I'd take Messi any day. Last season Messi outclassed Ronaldo by no small margin. Just look at how many goals he scored and importantly how many important ones.

  15. DAVID VILLA CUZ HE BROUGHT SPAIN 2 VICTORY AT THE WORLD CUP AND HE PLAYS 4 THE SECOND AWESOMEST CLUB IN THE WORLD AFTER MAN UNITED. MANAGER IS SIR ALEX CUZ HE WILL PWN THE REST OF THE COMPETITION

  16. MESSI is the best player on the planet no question about it....he should win the ballon d'or and the fifa award with no problem, second I give it to Iniesta or to Xavi.

  17. I think that Messi is not going to win the Ballon d'Or, he's a good player no doubt about that but he has that something that is confusing me. He scores for Barcelona but he didn't score at the World Cup at all. I think that Iniesta and Xavi make the most chance, because Iniesta made the winning goal for Spain at the World Cup and Xavi, is very important for Barcelona and by noting how much better Messi plays for Barcelona than he does for Argentina. So I'll can't think about any one else and in my opinion Xavi is the only one who really deserve the Ballon d'Or!

And Mourinho, he will win the prize for the best coach no doubt about that!
