I don't often watch the Bundesliga, and I rarely watch Bayer Leverkusen. Yet Eren Derdiyok's bicycle kick might be enough to turn me around, and make me into a Bundesliga fan.
Bayer Leverkusen were hosting Wolfsburg at home and drawing 1-1 after having taken the lead. In the 65th minute Derdiyok decided he wasn't interested in a draw, and so he performed a stunning bicycle kick winner.
Sounds simple doesn't it? Check the goal out below:
Is this the best goal you've ever seen? It shows great control, presence of mind to flick it over the defender, and the great amount of skill to bicycle kick it into the goal. Share your thoughts about the goal in the comments below!

Jürgen Klopp Guides Borussia Dortmund to Bundesliga Title
Borussia Dortmund has dominated the Bundesliga this season. Back in January Dortmund had a staggering 12 point lead, and while they let that impressive lead slip a little, they've now mathematically won the title with two game days to spare. While their 2-0 win over Nürnberg was important, it was second placed Bayer Leverkusen's 2-0 loss to FC Köln which helped seal the Bundesliga for Klopp's players.

Bild's headline states "Here celebrate Beerussia" |
Both goals for Borussia Dortmund came in the first half. It was young Mario Götze who created the scoring chance just past the 30 minute mark. His diagonal volley forced Nürnberg keeper Schäfer to parry, and Lucas Barrios pounced on the ball left unattended in the Nürnberg box to score the opener. Borussia Dortmund's second goal came just before halftime, Lewandowski scoring this time. The Polish forward turned his defender to chase a long ball by Hummels, and then promptly flicked it over the outrushing keeper and watched the ball bounce into the empty net. It was a wonderful goal which marked the title-clinching victory for Borussia Dortmund.
Congratulations to Borussia Dortmund as this is the seventh Bundesliga title in the club's history. While the fans had to wait nine years to see their team win the title, seeing them win it this season playing such beautiful football under Jürgen Klopp must be a quite wonderful. It will be interesting seeing Borussia in the Champions League next season, and hopefully they'll continue to play their attacking brand of football in Europe's biggest competition.

Bundesliga Opening Up With Dortmund's Loss to Hoffenheim

Renato Augusto celebrating his goal for Bayer Leverkusen |
A couple of months ago I wrote about Borussia Dortmund, and the way that they had been dominating the Bundesliga. While Dortmund still have a strong lead of nine points over Bayer Leverkusen, things aren't looking as solid as they were back when Jurgen Klopp's team had gone 15 games without losing. Borussia's latest 1-0 loss to Hoffenheim gave the perfect chance for Bayer Leverkusen to gain some ground on the table leaders. And amidst the chase, Bayern Munich's 6-0 victory over Hamburg stands out as a possible resurgence from the Bavarian club.
Borussia Dortmund's third loss of the season was an unfortunate one for the team. Like usual, Dortmund played with astounding speed and simplicity. Their idea of keeping the ball on the ground, moving it forward with every pass is one which slices through defences with ease. Although Borussia cut through Hoffenheim many times they were unable to definitively put the ball into the back of the net.
Hoffenheim on the other hand were fast with their attacks, quick to spring and often forcing Weidenfeller to make acrobatic saves. Ibisevic was waiting for golden opportunities, and when Beck squared a perfect ball to him, Ibisevic promptly shinned it in. The 63rd minute goal was invigorating for the Bosnian who flashed two close headers over the bar, and then struck the woodwork with a fantastic shot. Dortmund on the other hand were fairly stunned, unable to get back into the game and losing the match 1-0.

Robben was majestic in Bayern's 6-0 win over Hamburg |
While Leverkusen are still nine points from Borussia Dortmund, there are still eight matches to play. And along with Bayer Leverkusen gaining ground, there was also Bayern Munich who were victorious over Hamburg. Robben scored three in his team's 6-0 win which included goals from Ribery, Muller, and an own goal from Westermann.
Is there enough time left for a revival from Bayern Munich? The Bavarians are 16 points from Dortmund, and the title is still mathematically in the club's possibilities. And what about Borussia Dortmund, can Klopp manage them back onto the right track? Share your predictions and thoughts regarding the Bundesliga below!

Borussia Dortmund Continue Bundesliga Domination

Dortmund's players believe they can win the club's seventh title |
In the past decade the Bundesliga has been eclipsed by Bayern Munich. In the past fifteen seasons Bayern Munich have won nine titles, and in the past ten seasons they have won six, maintaining a prolific 3:5 title to season ratio. While before German football was dominated by the Bavarian giants, this season the Bundesliga dances to a different tune, Borussia Dortmund's tune.
Borussia Dortmund have been truly suffocating the competition in Germany's top tier of football. Dortmund are in first place, with a staggering 12 point lead between them and second-placed Hannover 96. Jurgen Klopp revolutionized a team which previously could only arrive in sixth place, into a team which currently fears nothing.
This past weekend, Borussia Dortmund had a big test. Klopp's team had to travel away from home to face Bayer Leverkusen, and surrounding this match was a large amount of hopefuls, saying that Borussia Dortmund would buckle under the pressure under the spotlight.

Borussia Dortmund's motivating coach, Jurgen Klopp |
All three goals were wonderful. Borussia Dortmund were an organic mechanism, working together in picking apart a shaky and imperfect defence. Mario Gotze tortured Leverkusen in his scintillating performance, and was ultimately substituted because Klopp feared that a Leverkusen player would try and harm the young genius.
Before the season started, this dominance was unimaginable. Borussia Dortmund are on the track to winning their seventh Bundesliga title, and they're doing it in style. Can Bayern Munich make a 16 point comeback? Share your comments below!
